One of the key standards of the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is that the few firms that have this certification GUARANTEE that their customers' fabrics will be dry, following the use of water, within 24 hours with appropriate ventilation. The reason that fast drying is such an important standard is that, aside from it reducing the risk of shrinkage and cellulosic browning, it also prevents harmful mould and mildew (naked to the human eye) from forming after 24 hours. Touch Dry Restoration has the experience and the tools to help deliver this guarantee and, in fact, leave most fabrics cleaned with water completely DRY, within just 2 to 6 hours.
Our skills are in the tools that we use, as well as in our knowledge of fabrics, fibres, chemistry, communication, and in the general care that we take. A few differences in our service include an initial pre-inspection of the fabrics, fibre analysis, Ph testing, dye-bleed testing, pre-treatment of spots and stains and heavy traffic areas, covering of items with tarpaulin sheets to protect furniture and surfaces, use of special furniture movers, moisture management, air movers, 2 operators or more on each job and much, much more. We use the appropriate chemical mix, heat, agitation and time to do the job well.
